The Team

Vinsight is developed and supported by users of the system from within the wine industry. At the moment the development and support of Vinsight is done by Simon Lampen who has been involved in the wine industry on the production side for the last 8 years.

Biography

Simon Lampen B.Com, P.G.Dip Vit & Oeno (Distinction)

I have come from a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from Auckland University as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Viticulture and Oenology from Lincoln University. I have had 8 years experience developing software packages related to the wine industry.
Amongst others I have worked at the following wineries:

I have developed two 'off the shelf' software packages, one is Vinsight and the other is a Tasting Notes Database as well as custom systems that have been used at Bonny Doon Vineyard in California and Delegat's Wine Estate in Auckland New Zealand.
